    Add up to 96 storage bays to compatible units with Synology Expansion Unit RX1223RP. Enlarge or create volumes without system or service downtime thanks to online storage expansion.

    RX1223RP provides simple storage expansion with 12 drive bays for 3.5"/2.5" SATA HDD/SDD drives. Up to eight RX1223RP expansion units can be added to compatible serves for up to 1.7 petabytes of additional raw storage.
  • Redundant design for high reliability
    Modular drive trays and system fans enable easy and quick replacement, reducing the impact of maintenance on service availability. Redundant power supply units keep your data online in the event one power source fails.
