TOUGHBOOK 40 with Windows 11 Pro, magnesium chassis and flexible configurations is the most versatile 14" fully rugged TOUGHBOOK ever built, but doesn't compromise on durability with improved strength and IP66 resistant design. In terms of flexibility, the TOUGHBOOK 40 is equally outstanding. It offers a huge array of flexible configuration options, making it easier for customers to have exactly the device they want.

This high-performance device is a Windows11 Secured-core PC, with a Core Ultra 5 vPro Intel processor (Core Ultra 7 vPro optional), 16GB RAM (up to 64GB optional), and a quick release 512GB NVMe OPAL SSD as standard (up to 2TB optional). It has all the latest communication capabilities required on operations, including options for eSIM and 4G LTE, as well as 5G with eSIM support and dedicated GPS. It is designed for use with all the major Global navigation systems and offers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and Thunderbolt 4.

The toughbook 40 features eight user-replaceable locations including the battery, memory, storage, keyboard and four expansion areas. The expansion area features several different types of xPAK's including a barcode reader, optical drives, authentication readers, additional I/O, batteries and storage. This unparalleled customization enables organizations to help futureproof, simplify ordering, shorten lead times and decrease downtime.
Infrared webcam
With the increased use of video conferencing - whether for telehealth or remote services - the Toughbook 40 boasts the 5 MP webcam. It features a privacy cover for security and infrared capability to support Windows Hello facial recognition.
Tetra-array microphones
Featuring four microphones that offer class leading speech recognition and up to 3x the accuracy in noisy environments. Additionally, users can select the optimal AI noise cancellation that best suits their needs.
