The ReadyDATA EDA4000 adds expansion capability to the ReadyDATA 5200 product family with 24-bays of storage in 4U form factor. The ReadyDATA family of unified storage was built with the needs of a growing business in mind. Each ReadyDATA 5200 can support up to two ReadyDATA EDA4000 using the 6G SAS expansion ports. For meeting the differing needs of specific applications, ReadyDATA users can mix and match SATA, near-line SAS, SAS, and SSD drives within volumes to provide optimal performance. Also, new drives can be easily added while the system is running for seamless expansion on-the-fly.
