The HPE Smart Array P711m Controller combines high-performance 6 Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) in a mezzanine form factor for HPE BladeSystem c-Class Enclosures. Comes standard with 1 GB of Flash Backed Write Cache (FBWC) for additional performance and reliability.
The Smart Array P711m Controller has four connectors and supports up to 512 external disks.
The Smart Array P711m Controller utilizes a graphic user interface (GUI) to provide an easy-to-use set-up process to extend the BladeSystem c-Class Enclosure flexibility with external disk drives to provide RAID protection and data migration between servers.
